Noom offers menopause hormone care alongside its familiar behavior-change approach. That combination may appeal if night sweats and weight concerns have arrived together, but it creates two different conversations: treatment for menopause symptoms and support for weight management.
We reviewed Noom’s public menopause, medication and support pages on September 21, 2026. This is a review of published information, without enrolling as a patient or testing treatment. We could confirm the advertised medication categories; we could not establish a current, universally applicable checkout price.
What Noom actually lists
Noom’s HRT transparency page describes FDA-approved estrogen patches and progesterone pills, plus a compounded estrogen body cream. The cream combines estradiol with estriol, often called bi-est. Those are distinct product choices, with different regulatory status. An approved patch does not make another product sold by the same service FDA-approved.
The company connects hormone care with education and behavior support. Before joining, ask which membership contains the clinical service you want. A general weight-management subscription should not be assumed to include a menopause prescription, a separate weight-loss medicine or every form of coaching advertised elsewhere on the site.
How to read the compounded option
Noom describes pharmacy quality processes for its cream. We did not inspect a pharmacy, obtain a batch report or independently verify manufacturing. FDA explains that compounded medicines are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness and quality before marketing in the same way as approved drugs.
Ask why the clinician recommends a compounded formulation and whether an approved alternative can meet your needs. Words such as natural or bioidentical do not establish a lower risk. Our compounded HRT explainer helps you compare the prescription itself instead of relying on the overall brand’s reputation.
Keep weight expectations realistic
Noom’s menopause marketing discusses metabolic health and weight. The Menopause Society’s patient guidance makes the crucial distinction: HRT is not a direct weight-loss treatment. Relief from disruptive symptoms may help daily life, but it does not promise a particular change on the scale.
If you also want an obesity assessment, ask for a separate explanation of eligibility, medication choices, risks and costs. Our HRT and weight-loss medication guide provides questions for that discussion. A service offering both categories does not mean that every patient should receive both.
Get a written price for your plan
We are not presenting an older launch promotion as today’s ongoing price. Request the initial charge, renewal charge, supply length and any minimum commitment in writing. Confirm whether the quote includes estrogen, progesterone when prescribed, shipping, clinical follow-up and access to the behavior program.
Also ask how an existing Noom membership affects enrollment. Would there be a second subscription, a credit or a change to your current plan? Record the cancellation deadline and whether a pharmacy order can be stopped once processing begins. These details make a comparison with WeightWatchers much more useful than two headline prices.
Find the right support channel
Noom’s treatment instructions direct medical questions to clinicians in the app and distinguish care coordination from billing support. That division matters when a question concerns side effects rather than a late parcel. Save the clinical contact route and ask what response time to expect, including weekends.
Before paying, confirm that the service can treat you in your state and whether your situation requires a live visit or an examination elsewhere. If reading and writing on a phone is difficult, ask about accessibility and appointment alternatives. The message-based care shortlist covers these practical differences.
Bring your existing care into the conversation
Prepare a medication list, the names of any current hormone products and relevant medical history. Tell the prescriber who manages your primary care and where testing or examinations are usually done. Do not assume information from a separate Noom program automatically reaches the menopause clinician.
Ask how records and refills work if you later leave. A downloadable treatment plan and a clear next-review date can help you discuss continuity with another clinician. Our switching guide covers this without suggesting that you change or stop a prescription yourself.
Who might want a closer look
Noom may be worth investigating when its app-based support and documented hormone options match your preferences. Readers comparing a more focused menopause intake can also read Hers versus Noom. The useful decision is whether the actual prescription, care access and recurring bill fit; we found no basis to rank Noom’s clinical outcomes against another provider.
